金沢アートプラットホーム2008

This is the exhibition by artists and people interweaving the new artwork. Situated around the center of the city of Kanazawa, 19 artists will explore their places of work at a park, shopping malls, vacant houses, shrine, and etc. The theme is how and what kind of bridges we can create between us and others.

You need to get the Passport in order to see “Kanazawa Art Platform 2008”. The Passport is valid for 2 days during the exhibition period.

  Advance / group ticket fees: ￥800 (general), ￥600 (college students),
  ￥300 (schoolchildren and high school students), *Group requires a party of 20 or over
  
  
• During the exhibition period-
  You can purchase / exchange the Advance ticket to the Passport at
  21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa
  Heart In Kanazawa, Heart In Kanazawa East at JR Kanazawa Station,
  major hotels and inns in Kanazawa, and other independent shops in the neighborhood of venues.
  
  Passport Fees: ￥1,000 (general), ￥800 (college students & seniors of 65 years and over), ￥400 (schoolchildren and high school students).

You can visit all 19 venues with this passport. Present this passport at the passport-check point of venues. The date is stamped at your first visit venue of the day.
There are some free-entry venues. The passport is valid for two days during the exhibition period.
For Friends of the Museum（TOMONOKAI members）, you are free to visit all 19 venues at any time during the exhibition period with your membership card.

• Information Cube
  If you are not sure where to start, or want to know more about exhibition tour, try the Information Cube located at 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa to get you oriented. Useful information and recommended tour courses are shown, available in Japanese.
  
  
• Access
  Parking is very limited, we recommend to tour on foot, by bus, or by bicycle.
  Rental bicycle is available at Kanazawa Station （phone.076-261-1721, 076-264-0919）.
  ART BUS runs on Saturdays, Sundays and National holidays during the exhibition period bound for Citizens’ Art Center（Kanazawa Shimin Geijutsu Mura）and Kanazawa College of Art（Kanazawa Bijutsu Kogei Daigaku）The passport holders are free on board.

Art events held around the time of “KANAZAWA ART PLATFORM 2008” and those that accord with the objective of the project are introduced as “K-Plat-extension.” We hope that you also enjoy these events.
