21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa

Last year, Izumi Kyoka’s The Sea God’s Villa was performed to much acclaim at Kanazawa Noh Museum. This year, Noh actor YASUDA Noboru’s troupe will return to Kanazawa to perform in Theater 21. The play—The Castle Tower, an Izumi Kyoka play now marking its one hundredth anniversary. The performance will interweave storytelling, recitation, Kyogen, puppets, and dance on a foundation of Noh.
