The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa is taking the following precautionary measures in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

［For all Museum Visitors］
・Please refrain from visiting the museum if you have a fever of 37.5°C or higher, are experiencing symptoms such as cough, sneezing or runny nose, or if you are not feeling well.
・In order to prevent crowding inside the museum, entrance into the museum has been limited to only 3 entrances. These entrances include the Honda-dori exit (near the general information), the City Hall Exit (near the citizen’s gallery and theater 21), and the underground parking lot exit (exit that is directly connected to the City Hall/Art Museum Underground Parking Lot), and there will be restrictions on how many people can enter.
・Temperatures will be taken upon entrance into the building. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you have a fever of 37.5 degrees or higher, you will not be allowed to enter.
・In order to disperse visitors to the museum, we are introducing a WEB ticket system with designated dates and days.
When visiting the museum, please purchase the desired ticket in advance so that you do not have to wait in line for ticket purchase.
・Please wear masks and engage in proper coughing etiquette inside the museum.
・There are alcohol sanitizing stations located at the entrances and exits. Please disinfect your hands upon entering the building.
・When purchasing exhibition tickets inside the building, please keep a distance of 1.5m between yourself and other customers in line.
・Please note that there may be restrictions on admission to the exhibition hall and exhibition room to reduce crowd congestion. In addition, if large crowds are expected, we may refuse admission to visitors.
・Please refrain from talking in the hall as much as possible to prevent splashes.
・Please keep a distance of at least 2m between yourself and other customers.
・Please use cashless payment as much as possible for payments made inside the museum.
・If you feel sick in the hall, please alert a staff member near you.

・The following measures will be implemented in order to comply with “the three C’s”
* Restrictions for entrance into the exhibition hall and exhibition rooms
* Closure of the underground portion of Leandro Erlich's work, Swimming pool.
* Limitation on the number of people that can be accommodated in museum projects such as workshops and theater performances
●Protective Measures Related to the Maintenance of Facility Environment
・In order to prevent crowding inside the museum, entrance into the museum has been limited to only 3 entrances. These entrances include the Honda-dori exit (near the general information), the City Hall Exit (near the citizen’s gallery and theater 21), and the underground parking lot exit (exit that is directly connected to the City Hall/Art Museum Underground Parking Lot), and there will be restrictions on how many people can enter.
・Thorough disinfection and cleaning of areas that are frequently touched (door knobs, elevator switches, handrails, etc.), as well as wheelchairs, strollers etc.
・Strengthening of the cleaning inside the building.
・Instillation of an acrylic board at the general reception desk to communicate with customers.
・Instillation of floor markers at intervals of 1.5m to help customers maintain distance from one another when purchasing tickets.
・Strengthening of ventilation such as air conditioning.
・Pamphlets, etc will not be handed out.
・Temporary suspension of the use of hand dryers in restrooms

・Thorough management of staff health through hand washing and regular temperature checks.
・Masks and face guards will be worn by the guards and reception staff in the exhibition rooms.
