Born in 1970 in Kanagawa, Japan, and lives and works in Kanazawa. Graduated in 2000 with a major in Urushi Art from the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. In 2005 he completed a course at Kanazawa Utatsuyama Kogei Kobo. Selected exhibitions include “Urushi-traditionelle japanische Lackkunst,” Musterring International (Germany, 2011); “Collect 2014,” Saatchi Gallery (London); “2016 Fuzhou International Lacquer Biennale,” Fuzhou Urushi Ar t Institute (China); “ International Contemporary Ottchil Art Exhibition 2016,” Tongyeong Ottchil Art Museum (Korea), and others.
