About

Fun for kids of all ages! A feast of four high-profile pieces of theater from Japan and beyond
We will be staging four pieces of theater from Japan and further afield for families to enjoy together, mainly suitable for children from babies through elementary school age and partly in partnership with the 20th ASSITEJ WORLD CONGRESS and International Theatre Festival for Children and Young People scheduled for Tokyo in May. The program will also feature a lecture and hands-on workshop for learning about theater for babies.

    Mana Yumii (Director, BEBERICA theatre company)
    Studied performing arts and theater pedagogy at Kyoto University of Art and Design (B.A. in Performing Arts and Visual Arts) and ZA-KOENJI Public Theater Creative Theater Academy, Tokyo. Adding to her activities as both an actress and director, she has produced many workshops for children.
