About

The “Hiroshi Koike Bridge Project” was launched by director KOIKE Hiroshi after the 3.11 Earthquake in 2012 and disbanding Pappa TARAHUMARA, a leading performing arts company for thirty years. Koike has reconstructed the MIYAZAWA Kenji fairy tales “Night on the Milky Way Train” and “The Glacier-Rat Fur Skin,” taking as his core concepts, “the living and the dead” and “the human and the nature.” The work will be performed in five locations in Japan including Kanazawa.
